Changelog

Current build: 30 calculators, 37 active rule packs. Rule-pack activations, calculator releases and method changes are recorded here; the commit-level history is public in the repository.

  1. Search and answer-engine pass

    • Every calculator page opens with a one-paragraph statement of what it computes, followed by the tool, then related calculators, the category hub and the methodology page.
    • Methodology pages are retitled and restated as method-and-sources references, linked to their calculators as one entity pair in structured data.
    • Sitemap entries carry last-modified dates from content releases and official-source retrieval dates; each calculator has its own social card; the whole site is also served as llms-full.txt.
    • Analytics scripts now load after the page is idle. Copy across FAQs, trust pages and calculator notes rewritten without dash asides.
  2. Polish pass

    • Plus Jakarta Sans and Geist Mono now render as designed (the font variables were scoped one element too low, so every page had silently fallen back to system fonts).
    • Theme toggle visible in the light theme; rate fields no longer flag an error before anything is typed; touch targets on links and footer rows enlarged.
  3. Query-language alignment

    • Titles, descriptions and FAQ copy aligned to how people actually search (Search Console data): car loans with balloon or residual, conveyancing fees, fortnightly HECS-HELP withholding, salary sacrifice.
    • Each rule-pack-backed calculator shows the latest official-source retrieval date; methodology pages list every pack source inline with authority and retrieval date.
  4. Agent readiness

    • Every page is also served as markdown on request (Accept: text/markdown), with llms.txt, a developers page and real 404 responses with recovery links.
    • About, contact, privacy and developer pages published; sitewide Organization and WebSite structured data.
  5. Rule packs activated; 30 calculators

    • Sourced rule packs activated after engines reproduced the regulators' own worked examples; transfer duty now computes for every state and territory from each revenue office's published tables.
    • Added the income tax bracket explorer, inflation calculator (ABS CPI via the RBA table), super contributions with salary sacrifice and the ATO balance-by-age statistics, and sole-trader mode in the pay calculator.
  6. P0 preview build

    • 27 calculators live across pay & tax, property & mortgage, loans & debt, savings and business.
    • 22 rule packs authored from same-day official sources (ATO, QRO, Revenue NSW, SRO Tasmania), all pending human verification before production activation.
    • Stamp duty for VIC, WA, SA, ACT and NT is intentionally blocked pending transcription of official rates.
    • Every schedule-producing engine reconciles each period; solver-backed calculators verify their answers through the forward calculation.
